Collecting enough money allows Phil to purchase a snack from the vending machine, which can then be used to lure the right person away from a critical doorway. Every step of the puzzle chain builds logically on the last, and the game consistently rewards players who click on absolutely everything, as nearly every object and character in the game has something to offer, whether it is a necessary item, a humorous piece of dialogue, or a piece of environmental storytelling that deepens the charm of the world. The writing throughout is warm, funny, and full of the same dry wit that made the original so endearing, with teachers bearing deliberately silly names, students making absurd observations, and the general absurdity of the premise playing itself out with complete sincerity.
