Five Nights at Freddy’s 2 is a survival horror game that puts you in the role of a night guard working at a newer, flashier Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza where something is very wrong after hours. Unlike the first game, you don’t have security doors; instead, you must rely on a Freddy Fazbear mask to fool roaming animatronics and a music box to keep the mysterious Puppet from attacking. Throughout the week, you’re hunted by both redesigned “Toy” animatronics and withered versions of the originals, each following different attack patterns that force you to constantly monitor cameras, manage limited flashlight power, and react quickly under pressure. As the nights progress, the game ramps up the tension with faster enemies, hallucinations, and sudden jumpscares, while cryptic minigames and hidden clues reveal a darker story involving missing children, broken animatronics, and the unraveling history of the Fazbear franchise.
