What is Bloxd.io?
Bloxd.io is a free, browser-based multiplayer game inspired by Minecraft’s blocky voxel style, originally created by an independent developer named Arthur Baker around 2021. It started as a multiplayer sandbox focused on fast-paced minigames and parkour, and over time the team expanded as the platform grew to several million monthly players. The game requires no downloads or installations, running entirely in your web browser and making it incredibly accessible to anyone with an internet connection.
It offers a wide variety of game modes, letting players switch between parkour challenges, creative building, combat arenas, and survival adventures all in one place. The game has a lively online community and is constantly updated with new modes, features, and seasonal content, keeping the experience fresh for both new and returning players. Its Minecraft-inspired visuals give it a familiar and approachable look, while its wide range of game modes means there is genuinely something for every type of player, whether you enjoy building, fighting, exploring, or competing. Bloxd.io is controlled entirely with your keyboard and mouse. You use WASD to move, jump, and navigate, while the mouse controls where you look. You can sprint by holding Shift or double-tapping W, crouch with C or Caps Lock, open the chat with T or Enter, and open the in-game store with B. In building-focused modes like DoodleCube, you place blocks with the right mouse button, destroy them with the left, and swap between block types using the number keys or the mouse scroll wheel. The control scheme is simple enough for beginners to pick up within minutes, but has enough depth to reward players who take the time to master movement and building techniques.

Tips to Dominate
Bloxd.io has a wide range of game modes, and getting good at the game means learning the specific strategies that apply to each one. In 99 Nights, a wave-based survival mode where you gather loot during the day and defend against mobs at night, it is critical to prioritize resource collection early so that you are well-equipped before the first wave hits. In Cube Warfare, a third-person shooter with building mechanics, using structures defensively can give you a massive edge over enemies who simply run and gun. In Infection mode, which pits humans against zombies with different classes like Puker, Tank, and Sprinter, knowing which zombie class to pick based on the situation can completely shift the outcome of a round. In Rocket Spleef, where the goal is to destroy the platform under other players using rocket launchers, staying mobile and targeting the edges of other players’ platforms rather than shooting directly at them is the most effective approach. In DoodleCube, focus on the main silhouette of your build first and then layer in quick details, keeping in mind that others are voting based on how recognizable your creation looks from a distance in a short amount of time. In combat and survival modes, always try to claim the high ground as early as possible, since elevation gives you a better view of enemies and makes it much harder for opponents to hit you. Building a fortified base quickly in survival modes is also essential, as players who spend too long in the open early on are easy targets. Learning the map layouts for modes like Bedwars and Sky Wars will save your life, as knowing where loot spawns, where bridges connect islands, and which paths enemies are likely to take gives you a strategic advantage that raw skill alone cannot replace. Finally, the single best tip across every mode is simply to play with friends, as coordinating with teammates in Bedwars, Sky Wars, and survival modes makes an enormous difference compared to going it alone.
