Blog Post #2! AI and Its Impacts
<Hyper>: Hello everyone! Welcome to Blog Post #2 and today we will talk about how artificial intelligence is changing the world around us! Lets start with what AI is. If you have not heard, AI models like ChatGPT, Claude and Gemini are circulating the internet. Those models are made by companies who essentially have a super-smart human jammed into a website. Unsurprisingly, this is impressive, useful, and sometimes downright dangerous. Examples showing their sheer power is that it can perfectly recreate voices horrifyingly well and it can make stellar deepfakes of things happening in society. That begs the question, how do we tell the difference between something real and fake? There are a couple of ways to tell like does everything look way too shiny in the picture or does the fingers of the man look distorted? If the picture looks way to vibrant to be real, that might be a fake or the shadow of the object could be looking not like the object’s shape.

If you can’t tell the difference, consider looking on the web for that exact same picture and if you can’t find it, its probably not real. The last option is checking it with a AI image detector on your phone or computer. Those apps can really save you from believing false media. My personal opinions about AI is that it is helpful, but can’t do basic things by chance. Once, when I working on a personal computer science project, it started to not know that there were five variables instead of four. Despite working a ton with computers, AI can code WAY better than I can but is blind to basic details in life. But that is just the tip of the iceberg of a multimillion dollar idea.
